BMV Orbit Hydraulic Motor
BMV Orbit Hydraulic Motor is a cycloidal hydraulic motor with end face oil distribution which adapt the advanced Geroler design.
The displacement range is from 250cc/r to1600cc/r for selection. With the wide range of displacement, different equipment speed and torque requirements can be met. And there are also many shapes and sizes of flange to select from.
The character of BMV Orbit Hydraulic Motor are as follows:
1.Advanced manufacturing devices for the Geroler set which use low pressure of start-up, provide smooth and reliable operation and high efficiency.
2.The output shaft adapts in tapered roller bearings that permit high axial and radial forces, which can offer capacities of high pressure and high torque in the wide.
3.Advanced design in disc distribution flow, which can automatically compensate in operating with high volume and efficiency as well as long life.
4.Provide smooth and reliable operation.
Precautions when using are as follows:
1.To assure best motor life, run motor for approximately one hour at 30% of rated pressure before application to full load. Be sure motor is filled with fluid prior to any load applications.
2.Recommended Maximum System Operating Temp. is 82°C [180°F].
3.Recommended Filtration is per lSO Cleanliness Code, level 18/13.
4.Maximum Peak pressure at motor inlet port is 175 Bar.
Knowledge about the motor:
1.Continuous Rating - Motor may be run continuously at these ratings.
2.Intermittent Operation - under 10% of every minute.
3.The bearingless motor has the same drive components as the standard and wheel motors (with the exception that the motor is assembled without the output shaft, bearings and bearing housing). The bearingless motor is especially suited for applications such as gear boxes, winch drivers, reel and roll drives.

Q3: How to calculate torque?
A: The calculation formula is as follows:
Torque (Nm) = Displacement (cc/rev) x Working Pressure (MPa) x 0.16 (Factor)
According to the functional theorem: Vm (ml per radian) × w (radian per second) × p (MPa, differential pressure) × (total hydraulic motor efficiency) = w (radian per second) × T (Nm); so T =Vm×P×η; where the milliliter per radian of Vm is converted into milliliter per revolution and needs to be divided by 2π, which is multiplied by 0.16.
The displacement can be seen from the product label. The working pressure depends on the pressure gauge at the entrance of the orbit hydraulic motor. Knowing these two values, you can calculate the output torque of the orbit hydraulic motor at this time.
